What is the difference between artisanal Colomba dough and Panettone dough?
Colomba has a lighter dough to welcome the warm season with more freshness than panettone, which embraces a different period.
Colomba dough is lightened in the amount of fat and sugar compared to panettone and is distinguished by the freshness of its fragrance. Less butter, less sugar and less filling does not mean less taste! We assure you that the delicacy of this yeast cake pleasantly surprises at the first bite.
The aromatic bouquet of the colomba Infermentum, is very personalizing: it smells of amaretto, acacia honey and, of course, mother yeast like all artisanal cakes produced in our laboratory in the province of Verona.
The long and slow rising process makes this Easter cake very fluffy; we offer it in two mouth-watering variants: Traditional Colomba and Three Chocolate Colomba.
What is the difference between Traditional Colomba and Traditional Panettone?
The difference between the Traditional Colomba and Traditional Panettone is the lighter dough and the freshness of the aromatic bouquet that smells of amaretto. In addition, in the Panettone Tradizionale Infermentum there are orange candied fruit and raisins, while in the Colomba Infermentum only orange candied fruit that gives a more intense citrus note. Traditional Colomba has a delicate glaze with whole almonds.
What is the difference between Colomba ai Tre Cioccolati and Panettone ai Tre Cioccolati?
The difference between the Colomba ai Tre Cioccolati and Three Chocolates Panettone is both in the dough, which is lighter in both fat and sugar as far as the colomba is concerned, and in the amount and percentage of the three chocolates in the filling. Our chocolate is chopped by us in our laboratory in order to achieve the perfect size that can ensure homogeneity among the three flavors of milk chocolate, dark chocolate and white chocolate. Infermentum's Three Chocolates Colomba has a mouth-watering glaze with cocoa and almond crumbs.
